Training leadrope or long line
Available in all colors pictured (ask for any custom colors not listed), this leadrope is designed to be used in conjunction with a rope halter or sidepull. Provides the same feel to the horse and human as the reins used in riding and thus faciliates a smooth transition between ground and mounted exercises. Comes with leather popper on end of rope.
Designed to be tied onto halter via E-knot for a non-metal combination.
Eye loop splice and panic snap can be added for additional $10 to whatever length chosen.
PRODUCT INFO
Custom sized for your horse based on size and your comfort / experience level / intended application. However, longer is better because rope can trimmed to shorten but cannot be replaced once cut!
Pony / small child: 12 feet
Small to medium horse / child / novice: 13 feet
Standard horse / intermediate + : 15 feet
Extra large horse / beginning long line: 18 feet
Long line: 20 feet
Made exclusively of double braid polyester marine line
To lightly clean, simply wipe with a damp cloth. If severely soiled, wash on delicate cycle inside a garment bag or zipped pillowcase on COLD with MINIMAL fabric softener. Hang to dry. CAUTION: too much fabric softener can cause rope to herniate (inner core will push out through outer sleeve).
It is fine for your rope to get wet, dirty, etc. However, DO NOT allow your horse to chew your rope-- this will cause the rope to herniate. Also be advised that, while this rope has a breaking strength of 5000 lbs, it will not stand up to your dog's attempt to make it a chew toy ;-)
Further, be advised that this rope has a breaking strength of 5000 lbs and WILL NOT break if your horse pulls back when tied, if you wrap the rope around your arm, or your horse gets a foot tangled in the rope.
